A Collective Approach to Care

At The Gestalt Group, we believe healing happens through connection with ourselves, others, and the world around us. Our collective of therapists, healers, and holistic practitioners offers care that honours the whole person, mind, body, and spirit. Together, we create something greater than the sum of our parts.

The Gestalt Group is a queer-affirming, body-inclusive, and trauma-informed space that welcomes all expressions of self. Our work is grounded in anti-oppressive, decolonial, and feminist values, recognizing that healing does not happen in isolation from the systems and histories that shape us. We hold space for complexity, for grief and joy, for resistance and rest, and believe that transformation unfolds when we are met with authenticity, compassion, and connection.

Who We Are

Partner Practices

At The Gestalt Group, we operate as a partner practice—a collective of independent practitioners who share space, values, and a vision. Each clinician maintains their own practices and area of expertise, while coming together under one name to create an integrated community of care. This structure allows us to honour individuality by offering clients the benefits of collaboration, diversity, and shared wisdom.

Together, we offer a multidisciplinary approach that bridges psychology, somatic therapy, parent coaching, and holistic medicine. Within our partner practice, collaboration happens organically — through shared consultation, cross-referral, and a genuine commitment to community care. Our practitioners bring distinct expertise, yet we are united by a belief in relational healing, cultural humility, and integrative wellness. This model allows clients to access support that meets the fullness of who they are — mind, body, and spirit — while each practitioner continues to grow within a supportive and interconnected professional community.

Crys Vincent is a Registered Psychologist (AB) and Canadian Certified Counsellor.

Playback Psychology, founded by Crys Vincent, offers therapy for adults and teens, helping clients explore their stories with curiosity, humour, and compassion. Grounded in Contemporary Feminist Narrative Therapy, our approach invites reflection on the past, present, and future to expand the choices and meanings available to you. We honour the power of context, paying close attention to the experiences that shape your life. Through thoughtful questions and collaborative dialogue, we aim to help you find clarity, agency, and connection — supporting you in becoming the active author of your own story.

Parenting Through Connection, founded by certified parent coach and educator Megan, helps parents move from overwhelm to confidence by fostering calm, connection, and strong relationships within their families. Drawing from her background in child development and psychology — and her lived experience as a foster, biological, and adoptive mom — Megan understands that parenting today looks different from the way many of us were raised. Since 2019, she has supported parents in releasing perfectionism and reconnecting with their authentic selves so they can show up for their children with presence and compassion. Rooted in attachment, connection-based principles, and nervous system regulation, her approach also incorporates the Safe and Sound Protocol (grounded in Polyvagal Theory), which she is certified to offer. Parenting Through Connection empowers families to find balance, understanding, and joy in the everyday moments of raising children.
